So there you have it. As you can see, it really is easy to get these two terms mixed up. But it is essential to your salon’s success that you ensure that you have a competent, comprehensive salon marketing strategy AND a fully realised salon advertising plan.

Why is this important?

If you put together a salon advertising plan without the time and effort dedicated to your marketing strategy, then your campaign will not have the focus or the necessary targeting required to reach the correct audience.

On the other hand, say you build a respectable, healthy brand and learn valuable information about the most suitable clientele for your salon, but don’t actually spend time developing a proper advertising plan. Then all those potential clients may never actually hear about what your salon has to offer at all.

It may sound simple now, but it is very surprising just how many businesses make one of these common errors.
