It’s been a busy month in Phorest’s Product & Development team as we launched a host of features updates and new features. Read on to find out what we did.

Major Feature Releases

PhorestPay

You can now create your PhorestPay account to use with your Online Gift Vouchers and Online Store. Once you have completed the account signup process all of your voucher and store revenue will come through here. What’s the benefit? Your payouts will be everyday, 2 days in arrears.



New Features & Enhancements

Email Editor

We created the ability to add rounded corners of your images so you can better style your emails to match the style of your brand.



Phorest Go Android

As we work on improving your experience on mobile we upgraded some of our older menus. The most notable change is when you are booking in a package of services. We have made the screen cleaner and easier to navigate. On the left is the original screen and on the right is the newly transformed screen.



Bug Fixes

Phorest Go Android

  • When editing a staff roster the incorrect date would be selected. We have fixed this issue so the correct date will be selected
  • We noticed that for some users Phorest Go Android would occassionally crash when making breaks. We resolved this issue to prevent future crashes

Online Reputation – Facebook

  • There was a bug with Facebooks Review API which was causing old reviews to appear as new reviews in Phorest. We changed the Facebook API we were using which resolved this issue and all reviews have returned to their correct date.

Appointments – Shut Down Time

  • There was an issue when using the week view on the appointment screen to book in a service that has a shut down time assigned. The system would show the shut down time prompt for all times and days after Monday. We resolved this issue so the prompt will show only at the applicable times each day.
